The instructor should be able to explain medical concepts in a clear, practical, and student-friendly manner and connect theoretical knowledge with its application in healthcare and clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Human Anatomy and Physiology according to the institute's prescribed curriculum.Explain the structure and functions of major body systems, including skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, nervous, urinary, endocrine, and reproductive systems.Conduct interactive lectures using anatomical models, charts, diagrams, presentations, and other teaching aids.Demonstrate the identification and basic functions of major organs, bones, muscles, and body structures.Relate anatomy and physiology concepts to clinical practice and different allied healthcare professions.Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.Conduct regular assessments and maintain students' academic and attendance records.Provide additional academic support to students who require assistance with difficult concepts.Encourage active participation, questioning, and practical learning in the classroom.Maintain classroom discipline and a professional learning environment.Coordinate with the academic administration regarding curriculum progress, examinations, student performance, and academic activities.Participate in workshops, practical demonstrations, examinations, and other academic activities organized by IIMS.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiology, Anatomy, Medical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, or another relevant healthcare discipline. MBBS, DPT, Pharm-D, BS Medical Technology, BS Nursing, or candidates with a strong academic background in Anatomy & Physiology may also be considered depending on teaching experience.Preferred Skills:Strong knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology, good communication and presentation skills, ability to simplify medical terminology for diploma-level students, confidence in using anatomical models and visual teaching aids, and a professional and student-focused approach.
