Landscape Operations Manager

Our client is developing and maintaining a large landscaped estate in Riyadh: extensive ornamental planting, trees and palms, and a full irrigation network to match. They are hiring one person to own it — delivery of the landscape plan, and the year-round operation and maintenance of everything green on the site. You report to estate management, lead the site team and contractors, and hold the O&M budget.What you'll ownDelivery of the landscape and planting plans: phased work programmes, contractor and nursery management, installation, handover and quality sign-off.The annual maintenance calendar: pruning, fertilisation, pest and disease control, turf, palms and trees, seasonal planting.The irrigation network end to end — source, pumps, filtration, controllers, drip and sprinkler zones — run for water efficiency with fast fault response.The site team and contractors: daily work plans, productivity, safety, SLAs.The O&M budget: plant stock, fertilisers and chemicals, equipment, spares, procurement.Compliance and reporting: pesticide handling and storage, MEWA and municipality requirements, site HSE; weekly and monthly reporting on progress, plant health, water use and cost.What you bringA degree in agricultural engineering, horticulture or landscape architecture.8+ years across landscape construction and maintenance, including at least 3 running a large site or maintenance contract — private estate, compound, resort, municipal parks or giga-project landscaping.Hands-on irrigation experience in arid conditions and working knowledge of the species that hold up through a Riyadh summer.A track record leading crews and contractors, and of holding a budget.Arabic and English; Urdu or Hindi is useful with site crews.KSA driving licence.
