Landscape Site Supervisor – Residential Projects

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Landscape Site Supervisor to oversee the delivery of residential landscaping projects across Dubai.This is a hands-on site role. The successful candidate must have practical experience completing residential landscaping projects from start to finish and be confident taking an approved landscape drawing and BOQ and turning it into a completed project.You will be responsible for planning and coordinating day-to-day site works, managing site teams, arranging materials and suppliers, communicating with clients, checking quality and ensuring each project is completed correctly, efficiently and to a high standard.You must understand how a landscape project is actually built, including the correct sequence of works. For example, you should know when underground services, electrical cables, irrigation, drainage and other infrastructure need to be completed before hardscape works begin.We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a project rather than simply wait for instructions.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise residential landscape projects from site mobilisation through to completion and handover.Review landscape drawings, specifications and BOQs before and during construction.Plan and coordinate the correct sequence of works on site.Ensure underground services, drainage, irrigation and electrical provisions are completed at the correct stage before hardscape and finishing works.Provide clear daily instructions to foremen and site teams.Organise and supervise labour according to the requirements of each project.Monitor daily progress and report any potential delays or issues to management.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.Arrange required materials and ensure they are ordered and delivered to site on time.Check materials and quantities against drawings and project requirements.Ensure site teams have the correct materials, tools and information required to complete their work.Regularly inspect work and ensure workmanship meets company standards.Identify incorrect or poor-quality work and ensure it is rectified.Communicate professionally with villa owners and clients regarding site progress, access and day-to-day project matters.Coordinate with management and designers where clarification or technical decisions are required.Identify site problems and provide practical solutions.Manage snagging works and ensure projects are properly completed before handover.Maintain an organised, professional and safe working environment on site.Technical Knowledge RequiredCandidates must have strong practical knowledge of residential landscape construction, including:Hard landscaping and external tilingGround preparation and levelsInterlock and pavingBlockwork and masonryPlanters and raised bedsDrainageIrrigation systemsGarden lighting and electrical provisionsArtificial grassNatural grass and soft landscapingPlanting and soil preparationPergolas and shade structuresOutdoor BBQ and kitchen areasWater features and other common residential landscape elementsCorrect construction sequencing and coordination between different tradesYou do not need to personally carry out every trade, but you must understand how the work should be constructed, what needs to happen first and what good-quality workmanship looks like.RequirementsPrevious experience supervising residential landscaping projects in the UAE.Proven experience working on landscaping projects from start to finish.Ability to read and understand landscape drawings, construction details and BOQs.Strong practical and technical understanding of landscape construction.Ability to plan and organise daily site activities.Experience supervising landscape construction teams and subcontractors.Experience coordinating suppliers, materials and site deliveries.Good understanding of project quantities and material requirements.Strong attention to detail and quality control.Ability to identify construction problems and provide practical solutions.Professional and confident when communicating with clients.Good spoken and written English is essential.Ability to communicate clearly with a multicultural workforce. Many of our site operatives speak Urdu, so the successful candidate must be able to give clear and practical instructions to the team.Valid UAE driving licence is essential.Comfortable travelling between residential project sites across Dubai.The Person We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is experienced, practical and takes ownership of their site.If you are given a drawing, BOQ, site team and project programme, you should understand what needs to happen next and be able to keep the project moving forward.You should be organised enough to know what materials will be required in advance, technically experienced enough to recognise when work is being completed incorrectly, and confident enough to manage site teams and communicate professionally with clients.This role would suit someone with several years of UAE residential landscaping experience who is ready to take responsibility for the successful day-to-day delivery of our projects.
