With its avant -garde superyacht inspired design, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab completes the nautical trilogy alongside the wave -shaped Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the iconic sail -inspired Jumeirah Burj Al Arab About the Job The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Lead the Engineering & Facilities division, setting strategic objectives aligned with hotel and brand goals to ensure operational excellence, asset reliability, and exceptional guest satisfaction.• Oversee all engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, energy management, technical services, and compliance with JEMS standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.• Manage capital projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and adherence to design, quality, and safety specifications.• Develop and monitor departmental budgets, drive cost-control initiatives, optimize resource utilization, and support sustainability programs focused on energy efficiency and waste reduction.• Collaborate with Rooms Division, F&B, Housekeeping, Security, and other stakeholders to provide seamless engineering support for daily operations, guest services, and special events.• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams through training, performance management, succession planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring swift resolution of escalated technical issues.About You The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.• Minimum 8–10 years of engineering and facilities management experience within the luxury hospitality industry, including leadership responsibility for large teams and complex operations.• Professional certifications in Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Project Management, or related disciplines are highly desirable.• Strong leadership, financial, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and drive operational excellence.About the Benefits At Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
