We are looking for experienced professional interpreters to help evaluate and improve AI-powered speech-to-speech translation systems.
Location: Remote – US-based candidates preferred; Pacific Time Zone availability is acceptableLanguages:Japanese ↔ EnglishHindi ↔ EnglishGerman ↔ EnglishChinese ↔ English is an added advantageWhat You'll DoEvaluate AI-generated speech translations for accuracy, tone, context, idioms, and cultural nuances.Create high-quality human reference translations for AI training and benchmarking.Provide detailed linguistic feedback to AI, engineering, and product teams.Test real-time speech translation systems and provide feedback on quality, usability, and conversational flow.Help assess whether AI translation performs effectively in real-world scenarios.What We're Looking For5–7+ years of professional interpreting experience, preferably simultaneous/real-time.Relevant interpreting certification(s).Native-level proficiency in one of the priority language pairs.Strong understanding of cultural, contextual, and linguistic nuances.Ability to clearly explain interpretation decisions and provide actionable feedback.Interest or experience in AI, machine learning, language technology, or speech translation is a plus.Interested?
