Scolingo views language as culture and lived experience, integrating it into daily life, work, and new environments and making it come alive through 1-on-1 language lessons.Role Description The Language Teacher will deliver engaging online lessons that support long-term learner progression and cultural understanding in a full-time remote role. Responsibilities include preparing and adapting lesson plans to individual students’ needs, using Scolingo’s methods and tools to facilitate consistent practice and communication. The teacher will provide regular feedback, track learner progress, and adjust activities to support different proficiency levels and learning goals.QualificationsLanguage Teaching (experience not required)Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning tailored to individual and group learning objectives.Background in Education and familiarity with pedagogical methods, including learner-centered and communicative approaches.Knowledge of Literature or cultural materials that enrich language learning through authentic texts and media.Proficiency in at least one target teaching language and fluency in English for internal communication.Experience with online teaching platforms and digital classroom tools.Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity, and ability to build supportive long-term learner relationships.Relevant degree or certification in language education, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
