Laser Machine Operator

Key Job Responsibilities:Operate CNC fiber laser cutting machine as per production plan.Load/unload raw materials (sheet metal) properly.Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting programs.Perform machine setup, parameter adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.Ensure cutting quality meets specifications (dimensions, edge quality).Minimize material waste and optimize sheet utilization.Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.Follow all safety procedures and housekeeping standards.Report machine issues or breakdowns immediately.Competencies:Ability to read technical drawings.Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.Basic CNC programming understanding.Strong attention to detail and quality.Professional Skills:Ability to use the measurement tools (Caliper – tape – protractor).Ability to use the hand tools (hand drill – spanner – screw driver ).Willing to learn and improve.Experience:Minimum 2–5 years experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.Experience with fiber laser machines is a must.Qualifications:Technical diploma or equivalent.
