Laser Technician DHA

Role Description The Laser Technician DHA is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves performing laser hair removal procedures and other laser treatments in accordance with DHA regulations and clinic protocols. The Laser Technician will conduct patient consultations, explain treatment plans, prepare clients for procedures, and operate laser equipment safely and effectively. Daily tasks include assessing skin and hair types, adjusting laser settings, documenting treatments, and monitoring patient responses. The role also includes maintaining equipment and treatment rooms, ensuring infection control standards, delivering attentive customer service, and collaborating with medical and administrative staff.QualificationsDemonstrated proficiency in Hair Removal and Laser Hair Removal techniques, with a strong focus on safety and patient comfort.Practical experience operating Laser devices and related aesthetic equipment, including appropriate adjustment of settings and parameters.Ability to distinguish between different treatment needs, avoiding non-relevant applications such as industrial Laser Cutting in a clinical setting.Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, empathetic patient interaction, and professional handling of inquiries and concerns.Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensing as a Laser Technician or equivalent healthcare professional in Dubai.Relevant diploma or certification in laser treatments, aesthetics, dermatology assistance, or a related field.Knowledge of infection control, basic dermatology concepts, and clinic safety protocols.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and follow established clinical guidelines.Proficiency in documenting treatments and using basic clinic management systems; fluency in English is required, and additional languages are an advantage.
