About the RoleThe last mile is where the brand promise is kept — the moment a parent actually receives what they ordered. As Last-Mile Executive, you own delivery performance end-to-end across D2C and marketplaces: making sure every order reaches families on time, in full, and at the right cost — and when something goes wrong, you catch it and fix it fast. This is a hands-on, numbers-first role with real ownership of the courier network and delivery experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn last-mile delivery performance across D2C (Shopify) and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, quick-commerce) — delivery success rate, on-time delivery % and TAT.Manage courier / 3PL partners (Delhivery, Bluedart, Ekart, Shadowfax, Xpressbees, etc.) — daily allocation, performance scorecards, SLA governance, reviews and escalations.Drive down RTO and NDR — run root-cause analysis, address validation, customer confirmation flows and corrective actions.Control delivery cost per order — courier rate management, zone/weight optimisation, weight-discrepancy checks, and reconciliation of courier/shipping invoices.Track shipments proactively; resolve stuck, delayed or lost consignments; keep CX and customers informed with timely updates.Coordinate with warehouse/fulfilment, CX and finance on dispatch handover, delivery exceptions and COD reconciliation.Maintain daily/weekly MIS and dashboards on delivery KPIs and present performance to leadership; flag risks before they hit the customer.Manage delivery performance during sale/peak periods without letting SLAs slip.What We're Looking For2–6 years in last-mile / delivery operations in e-commerce, D2C, logistics or quick-commerce.Hands-on with 3PL/courier partner management, SLA/TAT tracking, RTO/NDR reduction and delivery-cost control.Data-driven — strong Excel/Google Sheets; comfortable with courier panels, tracking tools and building reports.Sharp coordination, urgency and problem-solving; calm and clear under escalation.
