This role combines technical expertise in stain removal and chemical handling with practical leadership to ensure efficient production, consistent quality and a safe working environment that underpins exceptional guest service.Key responsibilities:Lead daily operations: coordinate workflow, assign tasks and meet production targetsOperate and oversee industrial equipment: washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironersTrain and develop attendants in sorting, fabric care, chemical handling and stain removalPerform stain removal and apply appropriate chemical treatmentsInspect finished items to ensure premium cleanliness and presentationManage linen logistics: trolley preparation, distribution and stock controlMaintain a clean, safe and organised laundry areaQualificationsProven experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Washman in a commercial or hotel laundryHands‑on experience operating industrial washers, extractors, dryers and flatwork ironersAdvanced knowledge of stain identification and chemical stain‑removal techniquesDemonstrated ability to train, motivate and manage a diverse teamStrong commitment to safety, hygiene and quality controlPhysically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks in a fast‑paced environmentFlexibility to work varying shifts across a 7‑day rotating roster
