We are building our team in Dar es Salaam, where our group company Avenir Imara Solutions Limited is looking for an in-house lawyer.The roleYou will work as the lawyer of Avenir Imara Solutions Limited on corporate, M&A and regulatory matters for the company and the wider Avenir group, together with our team in the UAE.Responsibilities

• Advise the company and the group on corporate governance and restructuring in Tanzania
• Work on the group's M&A and investment transactions in Tanzania, including due diligence, transaction documents and closing
• Draft and review commercial contracts
• Advise the company on regulatory requirements, licenses and filings with Tanzanian authorities
• Coordinate with notaries public, commissioners for oaths and similar officers on the signing and certification of documents
• Coordinate with clients, authorities and other advisorsRequirements
• Law degree (LLB)
• Admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, with a current practising certificate
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate, M&A and regulatory work
