Job Description – Litigation Lawyer

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)Experience: 4+ yearsPractice Area: Litigation / Dispute ResolutionRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join a well-established legal practice in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will have strong private practice litigation experience and hands-on exposure to handling disputes within the KSA legal environment.Key RequirementsMinimum 4+ years of post-qualification/private practice experience with a reputable law firm.At least 1 year of litigation experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) is mandatory.Strong experience handling commercial and civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.Experience advising clients on litigation strategy, potential exposure, and dispute resolution options.Ability to draft and review pleadings, legal submissions, statements, notices, and other litigation-related documentation.Experience managing matters through different stages of litigation and coordinating with relevant courts, authorities, and external parties.Strong understanding of Saudi laws, court procedures, and litigation practices.Ability to conduct detailed legal research and provide clear, commercially focused legal advice.Experience managing multiple matters and working directly with clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and case-management capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution matters from initial assessment through resolution.Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal risks, potential outcomes, and appropriate courses of action.Prepare and review pleadings, submissions, legal opinions, correspondence, and supporting documentation.Conduct legal research relating to Saudi laws and regulations.Coordinate with clients, courts, government authorities, experts, and other relevant parties.Support negotiations and settlement discussions where appropriate.Maintain accurate case records and ensure all court and procedural deadlines are met.Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex and high-value disputes.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be a private practice litigation lawyer with at least four years of experience, including a minimum of one year working on litigation matters in Saudi Arabia. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical legal knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to independently manage litigation matters in a demanding law-firm environment.
