Lead AI & Automation Engineer

About the RoleK4 Group is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead AI & Automation Engineer to lead the company's AI strategy and digital transformation. The role will focus on identifying operational inefficiencies, developing intelligent AI solutions, and implementing end-to-end automation to improve productivity, streamline business processes, and support organizational growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of the company's AI and automation strategy, identifying opportunities to optimise workflows across all departments.Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG systems, AI agents, and intelligent workflows.Automate business processes using Python, APIs, RPA, and platforms such as n8n, Make.com, and Zapier.Integrate AI solutions with existing business software, databases, and third-party applications.Manage AI deployment, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and continuous system optimization.Research and implement emerging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable business results.Candidate RequirementsMinimum 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in AI/ML development and automation.Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.Experience with vector databases, AI model APIs, and open-source AI models.Knowledge of workflow automation, API integration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach to developing and implementing business solutions.What We're Looking ForA technically strong and commercially minded professional who can independently identify automation opportunities, develop scalable AI solutions, and drive digital transformation across K4 Group.
