Lead AI Engineer – Generative AI / LLMLocation: Doha, Qatar Contract: Yearly Renewable Experience: 6–8+ YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Lead AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of Generative AI and LLM-based solutions. The ideal candidate should be technically strong and hands-on, with experience leading AI engineering projects and teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI/Generative AI solutions. Architect and develop LLM, RAG, AI Agent, and AI automation solutions. Lead prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization. Translate business requirements into scalable and practical AI solutions. Integrate LLMs with enterprise APIs, databases, and applications. Provide technical leadership and mentor AI/ML engineers. Establish best practices for AI development, testing, deployment, and governance. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver AI initiatives. Required Experience & Skills6–8+ years of experience in AI/ML, AI Engineering, or related fields. Strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI Agents. Strong Python programming skills. Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLMs. Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks. Strong experience in AI model evaluation and production deployment. Proven experience leading AI projects and/or technical teams. Strong architecture, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Qatar/GCC experience is an advantage
