You’re working on agent systems that need to reason, operate across messy multimodal data, and deliver real outcomes in production.RoleLead AI Engineer owning the design and delivery of production-grade agent systems, setting direction across AI.ResponsibilitiesLead architecture and design of agent-based systems across the core productOwn end-to-end delivery of AI features from concept to productionDefine approaches to LLM usage, orchestration, evaluation and reliabilityWork closely with customers to turn complex workflows into scalable systemsMentor engineers and raise the bar across AI and backend engineeringDrive decisions across models, tooling and system designRequirementsStrong software engineering background with PythonProven experience building and deploying LLM or agent systems in productionExperience designing scalable backend systems and data pipelinesTrack record of ownership or technical leadership in fast-paced environmentsComfortable working with ambiguity and setting directionStrong communication skills, able to engage directly with customersTech stackPython, Temporal, OpenAI / Anthropic / Gemini, LiteLLM, Langfuse, Pydantic AIPostgres, vector and graph databasesNext.js, TypeScriptAzure, GCP (Vertex), PulumiPlease apply through the advert or email me to get more info:jack.herbert@oliverbernard.com
