Candidates must be local to Bay Area. As Lead AI/LLM Engineer, this is a hands-on role, you'll build and deploy the AI systems powering our platform, set technical direction, and mentor the team.Mandatory SkillsAgentic Workflows & System Design :Moving beyond standalone prompts to orchestrate multi-agent systems, complex tool-calling loops, and adaptive execution paths.Baseline Programming & Data Architecture :Fluency in Python (the near-universal language baseline) and data processing tools (Snowflake) to evaluate data quality and pipeline integrity.Production LLM Applications & Frameworks :Hands-on experience architecting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, managing context windows, and utilizing development ecosystems like LangChain, or LangGraph.Strategic Communication :Translate hyper-complex technical architectures into clear, value-driven language for non-technical stakeholders.Team Management :Worked closely with junior but bright engineers and guided them to 10X ouput.Due to the high volume of resumes, we cannot reply to applications that don't clearly demonstrate the mandatory skills listed above.
