Alongside its asset business, the company operates its own platform for energy management and energy trading.We are seeking a motivated and analytical Lead Analyst, Flexibility & Energy Markets to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of energy flexibility and analytics as the company expands into four new markets.ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Analyst, Flexibility & Energy Markets, you will:Build cash flow analyses and business cases for energy projects involving heat pumps, photovoltaic (PV) systems, and batteries.Identify new revenue streams from flexibility and electricity market solutions.Build and expand the supplier and partner network across electricity markets.Participate in customer meetings to understand their needs and shape commercial structures accordingly.Develop dashboards and leverage AI tools to enhance and accelerate analysis.QualificationsWe are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:A strong background in data and analytics, including experience in building dashboards.A working understanding of electricity markets and the value created by flexibility.Proficiency in building and interpreting financial and cash flow models.A proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership and identify new business opportunities beyond the given brief.Nice-to-Have SkillsGerman language proficiency.Exposure to heat pumps, PV systems, battery storage, or energy contracting.Hands-on experience using AI tools in analytical work.Day-to-DayYour daily activities will include:Conducting in-depth financial and energy modeling for projects.Collaborating with customers to tailor solutions to their specific needs.Exploring and implementing innovative revenue opportunities in electricity markets.Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners.Utilizing AI tools to streamline workflows and improve analytical precision.Working closely with a small, fast-moving team to deliver visible results.BenefitsPerformance Incentives: For senior profiles, a significant variable component tied to team success.Hybrid Work Environment: Work two days per week in the Düsseldorf office, with flexibility for remote work.High Ownership: Be part of a small team with direct access to leadership and the opportunity to shape the company’s future.Why This Role?This is a unique opportunity to take the lead in building a critical function within a growing company.
