Lead Applications Development Specialist (Mobile App & Web)

Job Purpose:Translate approved solution designs into high-quality implementations, applying architecture standards, and ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery across digital platformsKey Responsibilities:• Lead technical implementation of mobile and web application features by translating approved solution designs into scalable, maintainable, and production-ready code• Apply architecture standards and design principles by implementing clean architecture patterns and ensuring separation of concerns across application layers• Develop and maintain high-quality React/React Native and .NET codebases by adhering to coding standards, reusable component design, and structured version control practices• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and development tasks by collaborating with Business Analysts and architects to ensure accurate implementation• Identify technical dependencies, integration requirements, and implementation risks by analyzing system interactions and API contracts to reduce delivery uncertainty• Conduct code reviews and apply quality controls by validating performance, maintainability, and adherence to defined standards• Implement and maintain unit and integration testing practices to ensure reliability, defect reduction, and stable releases• Optimize application performance and reliability at code level by improving API interactions, database efficiency, client rendering, and resource utilization• Apply secure development practices by implementing authentication, authorization, data validation, and secure coding standards• Support production stability by troubleshooting complex issues and contributing to root cause analysis to prevent recurrenceJob Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline• This role typically requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience with strong exposure to mobile and web technologies• Demonstrated experience leading technical implementation of complex digital applications• Experience working within Agile or Sprint delivery environments e.g., DevOps• Exposure to integration-heavy systems and API-driven architectures Stakeholder Interactions
