Lead Artificial Intelligence (AI) Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI Consultant to drive AI strategy, governance, and implementation initiatives for leading United Arab Emirate government entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government AI projects, Generative AI, intelligent agents, and AI governance, with a strong understanding of the United Arab Emirate AI Strategy 2031 and the United Arab Emirate Charter for the Development and Use of AI.Key ResponsibilitiesLead AI strategy development and implementation aligned with United Arab Emirate government priorities and AI policies.Identify and assess AI use cases across government operations, evaluating feasibility, business value, and return on investment (ROI).Drive the adoption of Generative AI, intelligent agents, and AI-powered solutions to improve government services and operational efficiency.Establish AI governance frameworks covering ethics, transparency, accountability, security, and responsible AI use.Advise government stakeholders on AI roadmaps, emerging technologies, and digital transformation opportunities.Oversee AI project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and government standards.Collaborate with technical teams and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions.Mentor AI teams and provide strategic guidance on AI adoption, performance measurement, and continuous improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is preferred.8-15 years of professional experience, including at least 5-8 years in the United Arab Emirate working on AI projects with leading government entities.Professional certification in AI Engineering or Machine Learning from an accredited cloud provider such as Microsoft, AWS, or Google.Strong knowledge of the United Arab Emirate AI Strategy 2031 and the United Arab Emirate Charter for the Development and Use of AI.Proven expertise in AI strategy, Generative AI, intelligent agents, AI governance, and ethical AI implementation.Demonstrated ability to identify government AI use cases and measure business value and ROI.Excellent stakeholder management, strategic advisory, and leadership skills.
