Apply & track with Apply EdgeLead Audio Visual EngineerAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced AV Engineer to support a sophisticated enterprise environment and serve as a key connection point between internal technology teams, business stakeholders, managed service resources, and AV engineering teams.This is not a purely back-of-house AV engineering position. The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise ProAV knowledge with excellent communication, organization, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills.You will help ensure AV and collaboration technology initiatives are effectively coordinated from planning through resolution, while serving as a trusted resource for internal customers and technical teams.What You'll DoTechnical Coordination & Service DeliveryProvide technical coordination, direction, and decision-making for enterprise AV and collaboration technology.Serve as a key point of contact between internal IT teams, business stakeholders, managed service resources, and AV engineering teams.Coordinate technical issues and initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.Troubleshoot AV-related issues and manage escalations through resolution.Coordinate with Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support resources.Determine when issues require engineering-level intervention and ensure appropriate escalation.Translate technical issues into clear, understandable business and customer communications.Help drive issues and initiatives to completion while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.AV & Collaboration TechnologySupport enterprise ProAV environments and collaboration technology.Work with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, or comparable enterprise collaboration technologies.Support enterprise video, conferencing, collaboration, and large-scale meeting environments.Develop an understanding of how AV and collaboration technologies operate within complex enterprise environments.Coordinate with AV engineering resources on technical solutions, implementations, and troubleshooting.Support large-scale meetings, broadcast environments, and collaboration experiences when needed.Networking & IT CoordinationApply a working understanding of enterprise networking concepts as they relate to AV systems.Understand networking terminology and concepts including VLANs, firewalls, and network connectivity.Partner effectively with networking and IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve AV-related connectivity issues.Coordinate technical escalations between AV, networking, IT, vendors, and managed service teams.Project CoordinationCoordinate AV and collaboration technology projects from planning through implementation and completion.Track project activities, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.Coordinate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.Help manage implementation and delivery activities.Maintain organization and follow-through across multiple concurrent priorities.Serve as the connective point between technical and business teams.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsExperience supporting enterprise ProAV / AV environments.Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, or comparable collaboration platforms.Experience supporting, coordinating, or administering AV environments.Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including VLANs and firewalls.Strong customer-facing communication skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to coordinate technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and support resources.Strong troubleshooting and escalation-management skills.Ability to translate technical concepts and issues into clear business/customer language.Preferred QualificationsAV project management or technical project coordination experience.Managed services or MSP experience.Experience supporting large enterprise AV environments.Experience with global or wide-area video, broadcast, or large-scale meeting environments.Experience working closely with internal IT organizations.Vendor or third-party coordination experience.Experience working in complex enterprise technology environments.Experience coordinating technical implementations from planning through completion.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is an enterprise ProAV professional who can bridge the gap between AV engineering, IT, managed services, and internal business stakeholders.You should be technically comfortable enough to understand AV infrastructure, collaboration platforms, networking concepts, troubleshooting, and escalations—but equally comfortable communicating with customers, coordinating teams, managing projects, and driving issues toward resolution.We are particularly interested in professionals who have a combination of:Enterprise AV / ProAV experienceCustomer-facing communicationTechnical project coordinationService delivery or managed services experienceStakeholder managementCollaboration technology experienceEnterprise networking knowledgeStrong organization and follow-through**The role may require occasional travel to regional and international offices and participation in large-scale meetings or technology initiatives.
