No nationwide travel or overseas projects, just exciting commercial AV work with some fantastic clients, a growing team and a real opportunity to progress.Rafferty Resourcing is working with a fantastic commercial AV business looking for an experienced engineer who’s ready to take a lead.Maybe you’re already the person everyone turns to on site. You know what a good installation should look like, you’re confident sorting out problems, and you’re happy guiding less experienced engineers.If that sounds like you, this could be a lovely next step. You’ll still be hands-on, working on projects you can be proud of, while taking more responsibility and helping the team develop as it grows.The role:Leading commercial AV installations across LondonTaking ownership of site work and maintaining high standardsSupporting and guiding other engineersBuilding and wiring AV racksInstalling and connecting AV equipmentCarrying out cabling and terminationsIdentifying and resolving technical issues on siteWorking closely with technical and project teamsMaking sure installations are completed neatly and professionallyWhat are we looking for?We’re looking for someone who is really good at what they do, an experienced commercial AV engineer with strong practical skills, sound technical knowledge and the confidence to lead on site.Ideally, you’ll bring:Several years of commercial AV installation experienceExcellent rack building, cabling and termination skillsA good understanding of audio, video and networkingConfidence troubleshooting technical problemsExperience delivering larger commercial AV installationsThe ability to guide other engineers and set a good exampleA professional, approachable manner on client sitesRelevant industry or site qualifications would be usefulA driving licence would be advantageousA real opportunity to progress:You’ll be joining a growing technical team, working with some fantastic clients on exciting AV projects across the capital.
