Lead Backend Engineer (Golang)

About the Role

Lead an engineering team in designing and building core features, functionalities, and digital product services across platforms.Partner with engineering management to align team workflows and deliverables with overarching organizational priorities.Drive and enforce software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable system architecture.Demonstrate strong ownership across all project phases—owning technical design, project estimation, and execution of complex technical solutions using appropriate technologies and infrastructure.Actively participate in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing production systems to ensure uptime and performance.Manage team performance and identify growth opportunities to optimize capabilities and maximize engineering output.Actively participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and mentoring backend engineering team members.About You:Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Broad experience in core backend languages, with a strong willingness and capability to work extensively with Node.js.Proficient in HTTP protocols, Web Services, OAuth authentication, and RESTful API design.Deep understanding of Clean Architecture principles and hands-on experience with message brokers (e.g., AWS SQS, Apache Kafka).Proven ability to architect, optimize, and manage robust database designs (SQL/NoSQL).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, GCP).Strong communication skills with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.Highly proactive individual contributor with strong analytical skills, a continuous learning mindset, and a commitment to driving positive team culture and technical improvements.Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and launching large-scale backend systems.Minimum 1 year of direct leadership or team management experience.
