Lead Business Analyst

Experiece: 8+yrsLocation: Dubai,UAEQualifications &ExperienceRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (orequivalent) in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) Certification or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) is preferred.ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent testing certification is an advantage.Preferred Experience:8+ yearsof proven experience in Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) for complex processes, including experience at a senioror lead levelon multi-workstream programmes.Banking industry experience is mandatory; UAE or GCC SME, retailor corporate bankingis strongly preferred.Hands-on delivery experience in at least threeof the following functional areas, withdepth in at least one: payroll / WPS processing; invoicing and online collections; merchant acceptance and POS; SME lending and loan origination; cheque, deposit and account servicing; multi-user and multi-entity access; government or regulatory platform integration.Demonstrable experience reviewing Functional Specification Documents against business requirements and managing open design questions through to closure.Demonstrable experience reviewing test strategies and test casesfor requirement coverage, and supporting SIT and UAT within a structured TCOE or QA environment.Experience on digital channel or digital transformation programmes delivered through a mix of in-house build and third-party providers.Core banking systems experience (Temenos T24 preferred), including the interaction betweena digital channel and the core.Exposure to AI- or automation-assisted decisioning in a regulated process is an advantage.Demonstrated experience working in Agileand DevOps environments, and the judgement to apply Agile or Waterfall as the workstream requires.Knowledge &SkillsKnowledge of the project delivery lifecycle, and of vendor-delivered as well as in-house build models.Practical experience generating process documentation, process re-engineering, and reports.Experience in Agilemethodology and associated tools (e.g., JIRA,Azure DevOps, Confluence).Proven capabilities in project and user-testing management.Excellent communicator withthe ability to translate datainto actionable insights.Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visioand MS Project.Experience with datavisualisation tools.Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.A history of leading and supporting successful projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.Technical CompetenciesExceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Excellent documentation skills, including BRDs,Use Cases, and Functional Specifications.Proven ability to review and critique Functional Specification Documents produced by development teams and third-party providers against approved business requirements.Ability to review teststrategies, test plansand test casesfor requirement coverage, and to assess entry / exit criteria, test data and environment readiness.Requirements traceability management across thefull delivery lifecycle.Process Modelling and Analysis (e.g.,BPMN, UML).Advanced technical skills with the ability to engage withcomplex IT systems, including working literacy of APIs, integration patterns and data mapping.Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)knowledge across both Agile and Waterfall delivery.Stakeholder management and collaboration in a matrixorganization.Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel,Visio, and Outlook.Creation of Reports andDashboards; Business Intelligence (BI) Tools proficiency.Change management expertise.Leadership CompetenciesEstablishing trustand credibility withbusiness and technical stakeholders.Building strongrelationships across the organization and with external delivery partners.Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen.Strategic Planning and prioritization acrossconcurrent workstreams.Active listening and understanding of business objectives.Mentoring otherBusiness Analysts withinthe team.
