Lead Business Analyst – Full-Time | USAJob Title: Lead Business Analyst Experience: 12+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Location: USA – Hybrid/Onsite depending on business requirementsJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with 12+ years of experience to lead complex business analysis initiatives across enterprise applications and digital transformation programs. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, QA, and leadership, translating business objectives into clear, actionable requirements and scalable solutions.Current U.S. Lead BA roles commonly emphasize requirements management, Agile/SAFe, stakeholder engagement, SQL/data analysis, Jira/Azure DevOps, process modeling, UAT, and cross-functional leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end business analysis and requirements management for complex enterprise initiatives.Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements elicitation.Analyze As-Is and To-Be business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, and RTMs.Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.Lead Agile/Scrum activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects, Developers, QA, Data teams, and business SMEs.Perform impact analysis, dependency analysis, and risk assessment for proposed changes.Support solution design, system integrations, APIs, data flows, and business process transformation.Develop and execute UAT strategies, test scenarios, and business validation activities.Use SQL for data validation, analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.Manage requirements and project artifacts using Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure DevOps.Identify opportunities for process automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and senior Business Analysts.Present requirements, findings, recommendations, and project status to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.Required Skills12+ years of Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis experienceStrong experience with requirements elicitation and requirements lifecycle managementAdvanced Agile/Scrum experience; SAFe exposure is a plusStrong stakeholder management and executive communicationExperience creating BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, RTM, Process Flows, and Acceptance CriteriaStrong SQL and data analysis capabilitiesExperience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent toolsBusiness process modeling using Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN, or similarStrong understanding of SDLC, UAT, QA, integration testing, and release processesExperience working with APIs, databases, enterprise applications, and system integrationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skillsProven experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring Business AnalystsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldCBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, SAFe, or similar certificationExperience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, or other regulated industriesExperience with cloud migration, application modernization, data transformation, or digital transformationExposure to Power BI, Salesforce, ServiceNow, AI/automation, or cloud platforms is a plus.Ideal CandidateA senior-level BA who can independently own complex requirements, communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, work hands-on with SQL and Agile delivery tools, and provide leadership across multiple project workstreams.
