Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout STYL Solutions. STYL Solutions uses Fintech and IoT for smart city and nation transformation.Headquartered in Singapore with an R&D centre in Vietnam, we design, develop and supply hardware, software and integrated solutions for payment, loyalty, location tracking, self-service operation and telemetry. We serve financial services, retail, mass transit, education and social services across Singapore and South Asia Pacific. Why this role exists now. We are moving requirements work from documents written by hand to an AI-assisted pipeline, where agents draft, challenge and refine requirements and people make the decisions. We need someone who owns the outcome of that pipeline, not just its paperwork.About the roleThis is our Lead Business Analyst role. You will do what strong BAs do best: elicit, analyse, document and get sign-off. You will also own the result, from a client's first idea to a requirement set the client accepts and our team can build.Your BA craft stays at the centre. What changes is how the work gets done and how far your ownership reaches. AI tools handle much of the first drafting, such as turning meeting notes into user stories, spotting gaps and drafting acceptance criteria. You guide them, check their output, and make the calls they cannot: what matters to the client, what to cut, and when a requirement is ready to build. On internal products, you also act as product owner. In practice you will:
- Own internal, company-initiated products as a shared product owner (vision, backlog, prioritiesand roadmap input), while serving as BA for our existing clients.
- Lead discovery with clients, starting from a blank page or from a draft requirement set, andnarrow it down until it is signed off.
- Run an AI-assisted requirements pipeline, designing how agents are used, checking theiroutput, and improving the process over time.
- Protect the product line, steering custom client requests towards reusable, productizedcapability where it makes sense.Key responsibilities1. Discovery and requirements funnel
- Kick off engagements either from scratch or from a starter requirement set, often AI-draftedfrom RFPs, past projects or our product catalogue.
- Lead discovery workshops, interviews and site visits with clients and end users; uncover the realproblem behind the request.
- Narrow broad asks into a prioritised, testable scope through rounds of refinement, trade-offdiscussions and prototypes.
- Drive requirements to formal acceptance by the client, or to the satisfaction of the business orproduct owner, and manage change after sign-off.
- Write or approve the final artefacts: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows(BPMN), wireframes, and functional and non-functional requirements.2. Product ownership across projects
- Act as shared product owner for internal, company-initiated products, for example in payment, loyalty, self-service kiosks or telemetry, alongside BA work for existing clients.
- Own and prioritise the backlog; decide what goes into each release with the development lead.
- Spot patterns across client projects and turn repeated custom work into product features.
- Feed the roadmap with evidence: client demand, usage data, cost to build and commercialvalue.
- Balance several projects at once and make clear priority calls when they compete for the sameteam.3. AI-assisted analysis
- Use our AI toolset daily (Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic AI in Figma and storyboarding tools) todraft, compare, critique and refine requirements, wireframes and storyboards, and tosummarise discovery sessions.
- Design and maintain the prompts, templates, checklists and agent workflows our team uses forrequirements work.
- Review all AI output for accuracy, completeness and fit; you are accountable for what goes tothe client and the developers.
- Keep client and confidential data safe when using AI tools, following company security and data-protection rules.
- Measure and improve the pipeline: cycle time from kick-off to sign-off, rework, and defectstraced to requirements.4. Bridge between clients and the build team
- Translate business needs into build-ready work, and technical constraints back into languageclients understand.
- Stay with the work through build: answer questions, refine stories during sprints, and keepscope under control.
- Plan and run UAT with clients; confirm that what was built is what was agreed.
- Keep stakeholders informed with clear, regular updates in written and spoken English.
- Coach and review the work of other BAs, and set the standard for requirements quality as ourlead BA.How we will measure it:
- Time from kick-off to signed-off requirements.
- Change requests and rework caused by unclear or missing requirements.
- Client satisfaction at sign-off and at UAT.
- Share of client requests delivered through reusable product features rather than one-off builds.
- Developer feedback on how build-ready the stories are. What you bring
