Role Title: Lead Business AnalystPosition Summary:The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for assessing the organizational impact of new or modified enterprise business applications and supporting successful adoption through stakeholder engagement, change readiness assessments, targeted communications, and training. The role translates business requirements into actionable change management plans that help employees understand, prepare for, and sustain new ways of working. This person will provide guidance and direction to other business analysts, other teams, and may manage projects of significant scope and complexity. This position is the third of four levels within the Business Analysis job family.

Job Responsibilities

Partners with business and technology teams to drive successful adoption of enterprise-wide business applications through change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and post-implementation support.Solicits business requirements through interviews, workshops, and/or existing system documentation or procedures. Uses industry standard analysis techniques to uncover business requirements, such as data flow modelling, use-case analysis, and workflow analysis.Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates and tools and be a key contributor in the definition of what the appropriate templates and tools are.Makes recommendations and influence outcome regarding necessary changes on deliverables expected from other groups.Assumes the responsibility of project manager for projects where the scope is at a significant level of complexity. These projects could be new initiatives or modifications to an existing application.Demonstrates a clear understanding of FM’s business and business processes.Skill and Experience:5 years of experience required to perform essential job functions.Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): 5+ years of general business analysis experience, with 3+ years’ experience in project management.TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE | Expert knowledge of techniques and tools utilized in functional design, data analysis, user journey mapping, and managing project plans.TECHNICAL SKILLS | Experience gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes. | Proven ability to work in technical environments that use tools involved in data flow diagramming, data analysis, issue tracking, and documentation and presentation. | Proven experience with managing projects of significant scope and complexity with project teams consisting of cross-functional individuals.SOFT SKILLS | Proven ability to multi-task and establish priorities individually and within a team. | Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and organizational skills. | Proven ability to work independently as needed, provide direction to others and influence decisions made.Must Have Skills:Skilled at creating clear documentation, playbooks, executive-ready presentations, and communication materials for technical and business audiences.Experience creating data flow diagrams and documenting business processes to support operational and technical initiatives.Strong analytical capabilities using Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools to provide regular reporting across the enterprise.Strong facilitation and training experience.Presentation skills.Microsoft tool proficiencyTechnical/IT exposure and ability to work with enterprise technology-driven projects that scale.Education and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree required.
