Lead Business Analyst - Transaction Reporting

We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our Managed Services Team for Regulatory Operations in Transaction Reporting. In this role, you will oversee the transaction reporting process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, involving team management, developing and implementing operational strategies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy. With broad exposure across legal, compliance, technology, and client-facing functions, this role is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment where precision, collaboration, and innovation are paramount. ResponsibilitiesDeal with customer inquiries and requests, managing them efficiently and in a timely manner until resolutionHelp clients understand how the solution works and how to resolve reporting issuesParticipate in client training sessions and site visitsEscalate issues in a timely manner and ensure follow-up and resolutionAssist in validation or UAT for issue resolutionWork on client-specific projectsOversee the transaction reporting process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsManage the team and develop operational strategies to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with legal, compliance, technology, and client-facing stakeholders to drive automation and data quality initiatives Requirements10-15 years of general IT experience4-6 years of relevant experience in managing a team in the transaction reporting domainBackground in client-facing roles with the ability to adapt communication style to different situationsKnowledge of transaction reporting, BRD, and FRDExpertise in Business Analysis, Agile methodologies, and Requirements GatheringProficiency in advanced MS Excel, SQL, and APIsCapability to grasp concepts of a technical nature and demonstrate strong analytical skillsProactive mindset with the ability to work independently, listen, learn quickly, and demonstrate initiativeHighly motivated, disciplined, and confident team player with the ability to adjust to shifting prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills combined with strong interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher Nice to haveExperience in financial services, particularly securities financeFamiliarity with EMIR, MiFID, and ASIC reporting regimesUnderstanding of CFTC, SEC, and/or SFTR regulationsKnowledge of other vendor systems
