Lead Business Systems Analyst (Salesforce)

About the RoleWe're hiring a Lead Business Systems Analyst to connect business stakeholders and technology teams and own end-to-end functional delivery for enterprise application work on a Salesforce-based platform. You'll convert business needs into clear, testable requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet the intended process, data, and system outcomes. This is a hands-on lead role with accountability for complex work and functional leadership across teams.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness and Systems AnalysisOwn business systems analysis for assigned support work, enhancements, and projects from intake through productionLead stakeholder discussions to define business outcomes, current/future processes, business rules, data needs, and acceptance criteriaTranslate business needs into process flows, functional requirements, user stories, workflows, data mappings, and interface requirementsAnalyze production issues and proposed changes across business processes, system behavior, data, applications, and integrationsIdentify functional gaps, dependencies, risks, and decisions that must be resolved before development beginsSolution, Delivery, and QualityWork with product owners, architects, administrators, developers, QA, and delivery partners to evaluate solution options and confirm alignment with approved requirementsMaintain traceability from business objective through solution decisions, test coverage, and business acceptanceReview functional deliverables at key stages and drive resolution of incomplete, unclear, or misaligned workSupport backlog refinement with business impact, dependencies, risks, and effort inputDefine functional test scenarios and expected results; confirm test plans/scripts cover approved requirementsSupport SIT, UAT, defect triage, business acceptance, release readiness, and post-production validationFunctional Leadership and TransformationProvide functional oversight of work delivered by internal and external technology teamsLead business systems analysis for platform consolidation, migration, integration, and customer experience transformation initiativesApply consistent analysis standards and review critical artifacts across workstreamsPresent findings, options, recommendations, risks, decisions, and escalation needs to senior stakeholdersRequired Experience and Skills8+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise applications or transformation initiativesHands-on experience analyzing and delivering changes within Salesforce-based environments, including connected applications and integrationsStrong experience in requirements elicitation, process analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mapping, and interface requirementsAbility to assess how a proposed change affects business processes, applications, data, integrations, users, and downstream systemsWorking knowledge of APIs, integrations, data models, and data flows sufficient to collaborate with technical teamsExperience across the full application lifecycle — production support, enhancements, Agile delivery, testing, releases, post-production stabilizationExperience overseeing work delivered by external partners or managed service teams against defined requirementsAbility to facilitate discussions, resolve ambiguity, and drive decisions with business and technology stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities independently with ownership through completionClear written and verbal communication suitable for delivery teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadershipPreferred ExperienceSalesforce consolidation, org migration, or integration across multiple Salesforce environmentsWebsites, customer portals, or web/mobile applications within a broader customer experience ecosystemContent management or digital experience platforms (Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore)Marketing technology platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo)Transformation programs spanning multiple applications, business units, vendors, or technology platforms
