With capabilities spanning Carpentry & Joinery, CNC Machining, Paint Finishing, Metalwork, Temporary Structures, and Modular Solutions, we deliver world-class projects through innovation, craftsmanship, and operational excellence.We're hiring an experienced Lead / Senior CAD Detailer to join the Maestra Design team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and overseeing fabrication-ready technical drawings for scenic builds, exhibition stands, custom joinery, and event structures. You will play a key role in bridging creative design and production execution, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.What you'll doTranslate concept designs, sketches, and creative briefs into detailed, fabrication-ready CAD drawings for scenic elements, exhibition stands, event structures, and custom joinery.Produce complete drawing packages including floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, material schedules, and assembly instructions.Ensure all drawings are accurate, buildable, compliant with venue requirements, and aligned with health and safety standards.Manage drawing revisions, version control, and technical updates throughout the project lifecycle.Work closely with Design, Production, Project Management, and Site teams to resolve technical challenges and support smooth project delivery.Lead drawing quality control, maintain departmental drawing standards, and mentor junior draftsmen to improve accuracy and efficiency.Support workload planning across multiple projects and provide technical guidance to ensure deadlines are achieved.What we're looking forMinimum 7 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman/Detailer within the events, exhibitions, scenic production, or interior fit-out industry.Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential; knowledge of Revit, Vectorworks, or BIM tools is an advantage.Strong technical knowledge of joinery, workshop fabrication, scenic construction, materials, and finishing methods.Experience producing fabrication and workshop drawings for complex custom builds and event structures.Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.Experience mentoring or guiding junior draftsmen and maintaining drawing standards within a team environment.UAE events, exhibitions, or fit-out experience is highly desirable.If you're a technically driven detailer with a passion for turning creative concepts into buildable realities and delivering high-quality drawing packages, we'd love to hear from you.
