FyneHand has been mandated to hire a Lead – Vendor Development & Supply Chain for a leading Indian multinational firm in the Consumer Durables / Electricals / Appliances sector. The job location is Guangzhou, China.Role overview: A leading Indian multinational firm in the Consumer Durables / Electricals / Appliances sector is looking for a China-based leader to head its Vendor Development & Supply Chain function.Key responsibilities:Lead strategic sourcing, vendor development, and supplier negotiationsDrive cost savings across import orders, including raw material pricing, forex and duty drawbackEnsure quality governance and supply continuityManage China office administration, compliance, and statutory mattersLead 1 direct report with oversight of a ~4-member quality teamManage key India–China stakeholder relationshipsIdeal candidate:We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader with:Strong experience in vendor development and supply chain managementDeep understanding of customs, forex and commodity pricingPrior experience in electronics/appliance component sourcingStrong stakeholder management across India and ChinaExcellent Mandarin communication skillsQualification & experience:PG in Materials/SCM, MBA/PGDM (Operations), or B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Engineering15+ years of experienceProfessional proficiency in Mandarin, including reading, writing, and spoken communication, is required.
