Lead Commercial Manager – ProjectsReady to drive some of the region's most complex transport and heavy lift projects? Join Roll Group and play a key role in developing strategic opportunities, building EPC relationships, and securing major project contracts across the Middle East.Your roleWe are looking for an experienced commercial leader to drive strategic project sales across the region, with a strong focus on EPC clients, major capital projects, and complex land and maritime transport solutions.In this role, you will lead major project opportunities, drive project pipeline development, and support the tendering team in securing high-value contracts. Working closely with engineering, operations, legal, and global teams, you will develop winning strategies, build key client relationships, and convert opportunities into successful projects.You will act as the local focal point for strategic project opportunities, helping strengthen Roll Group's position with EPCs and key project stakeholders across the region.Company:Roll Group is a renowned provider of project logistics services specializing in heavy cargo transport and lifting, both on land and at sea. With a global presence and a focus on the Middle East, North America, and Asia, we operate with cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead major project sales opportunities across the regionSupport and guide the commercial team, including tendering and project sales supportTake ownership of project pipeline delivery, follow-up, and performance trackingDevelop business with project clients, mainly EPCsResearch and track regional project opportunities together with global teamsAct as the local point of contact for strategic project opportunitiesPrepare project sales strategies together with the Oil & Gas teamKeep the project pipeline, SOB, CRM, and reporting accurate and up to dateDevelop and maintain key accounts and strategic client relationshipsSupport proposals, tendering documents, commercial negotiations, and contract follow-upCoordinate with local subcontractors where requiredAct as a commercial consultant for project technical solutionsCollaborate with and guide tendering, engineering, operations, legal, and regional managementRepresent Roll Group in industry forums and client engagementsOversee post-sale handover to Project ManagersYour qualificationsEntrepreneurial, proactive, and commercially driven, you understand that winning major project opportunities requires market insight, technical understanding, strategic thinking, and strong client relationships.Other knowledge and skills you bring to Roll Group include:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Marketing, or a related fieldProven experience in project sales, business development, or commercial management within project-driven industriesStrong experience working with EPC clients and managing complex project opportunitiesDemonstrated success in developing project pipelines, winning strategic contracts, and managing key client relationshipsExperience in project logistics, heavy transport, marine transportation, heavy lift, or related sectorsGood understanding of tendering processes, commercial negotiations, contracts, and project executionAbility to guide and support tendering and project sales activitiesStrong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work effectively with technical, operational, and commercial teams across multiple regionsWhat we offerWe offer a challenging and rewarding full-time role in a fast-growing international company, with a competitive salary, a 5-day work week, hybrid working up to two days per week, and the freedom to make a real impact.
