The organization is driven by a vision of building a stronger, more resilient future through innovation, quality, and reliability.Role Description The Lead Costing and Management Information Systems role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gandhidham. This role oversees product costing, variance analysis, and cost control across the integrated steel plant, ensuring accurate and timely cost data for decision-making. The individual designs, maintains, and improves MIS dashboards and reports for operations, finance, and leadership, consolidating data from production, procurement, and sales. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, validating data integrity, analyzing trends, and recommending cost optimization initiatives. The role collaborates closely with finance, production, supply chain, and leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, while driving process improvements in costing and reporting systems.Qualifications Strong experience in cost accounting, product costing, and variance analysis within manufacturing or heavy industry.Proficiency in Management Information Systems, including report design, dashboard development, and KPI tracking.Solid skills in data analysis, Excel/Spreadsheets, and business intelligence or reporting tools.Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and integration of costing and MIS modules.Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost control methodologies.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data in clear, actionable terms.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CA, MBA) are an advantage.Experience in steel, metals, or process manufacturing sectors is preferred.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a plant environment and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
