Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Counsel to join our legal team. This role will support business lines across various GCC countries, especially Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, on corporate, advisory, contract, and dispute resolution matters.Key Responsibilities:1. Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal advice and support on transactions and commercial matters; identify and assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.3. Work closely with management and business units to ensure legal requirements are met.4. Support the business units in communicating with relevant authorities, associations, and other external stakeholders to maintain a business-friendly regulatory environment in our operating countries across the GCC region.5. Represent the company in litigation and other legal proceedings, as well as negotiations.6. Stay up-to-date with changes in the legal landscape and industry trends.7. Develop an adequate and high-quality resource pool of external law firms, and maintain strong relationships with external legal advisors and partners.8. Take business trips to Bahrain and other GCC countries when needed.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in law.A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in GCC countries.Fluent Arabic speaker, with fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken) as a working language.Excellent knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and commercial law.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proven track record of managing legal projects with challenging deadlines.Preferred Qualifications (A Plus but Not a Must):Experience in handling Bahraini legal matters.Diverse professional background, including experience in law firms, in-house legal teams, government, and/or judicial institutions (e.g., courts or prosecutorial bodies).Overseas education experience in an English-speaking country.Experience working with or advising multinational companies.
