Lead - Customs & Import

About the RoleHeads all import clearances and regulatory / taxation support from supply chain. Heads compliances framework for materials management. Works with business teams at center and circles as the subject matter expert. Key Responsibilities1. Own entire EXIM process and support as an SME to circles for CHA operations2. Agency Evaluation & SOPs, processes for customs clearances & digitisation initiatives, goveranances3. Customs filings, accountable for correctness of BOE4. CTH classifications for new items, maintain CTH list, work along with external consultants, taxation, partners5. Response to notices, hearings and supporting representations6. Tracking provisional assessments to closure7. On time delivery of shipments from port to warehouses, support in expediting shipments8. WPC filings, TEC, NSDTS support and tracking9. EPR, ESG compliancesExperience & Skills1. 4+ years of experience2. Experience of running operations of imports, regulatory clearances with deep subject matter expertise in this area. Experience in Telecom will be preferred.3. Experience of regulatory, statutory compliances4. Exposure to ERP / Global Trade compliance and Trade management tools will be preferred5. People management experience
