Lead Data Analyst

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Data Analysts, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.Assign tasks, set priorities, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of projects.Review the team's work to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.Lead data analysis and reporting projects from requirements gathering to delivery.Analyse complex datasets and identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.Present insights, dashboards, and reports to senior management and business stakeholders.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports and dashboards.Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation.Establish best practices for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.Conduct regular team reviews and support the professional development of Data Analysts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals through data-driven decision-making.Required Skills & Qualifications8 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.Previous experience leading or managing a team of Data Analysts.Strong proficiency in SQL.Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker and dashboard development.Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and data visualisation.Experience working with large and complex datasets.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-management abilities.Ability to translate business requirements into actionable data insights.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
