They need their first data scientist to take AI from pilot into production across the business.“Lead” here means owning the work rather than managing people. You’ll set the direction and decide how to approach problems, with more hires budgeted behind you.What you’ll doFind where AI will have the most impact in core workflowsRun experiments with human-in-the-loop review and LLM-as-Judge, then take the winners into productionSet baselines, metrics and dashboards that show real impact at board levelMonitor models in production for drift and quality issuesWhat you’ll bring5+ years in data science, with models you’ve put into production and kept runningHands-on LLM experience (prompt design, RAG, evals; Langfuse or similar is a plus)Python, SQL and a cloud data platformConfidence explaining results to senior, non-technical stakeholdersYou don’t need any sector background.Interested?
