You should be comfortable working independently in secure, high-side environments and have a track record of building deployment pipelines and maintaining production infrastructure. Bonus points if you have experience operating in air-gapped or classified government environments.What you'll do:Stand up and lead Bridge Defense's deployment engineering function as its founding engineer, setting the technical direction and operational standards for how software ships into accredited environmentsOwn the full deployment lifecycle (packaging, configuration, release, upgrade, rollback) across cloud, on-prem, and disconnected network enclavesManage Kubernetes clusters, workload configuration, resource allocation, and namespace/tenancy across multiple environments with differing accreditation constraintsOperate and maintain Linux infrastructure powering the platform in air-gapped and high-side production environmentsBuild and support CI/CD and configuration-management workflows, automating routine deployment and operational tasksPartner closely with CodeBridge software engineers to ensure their applications deploy and run reliably within the constraints of accredited, disconnected environmentsIntegrate security tooling into the deployment pipeline, run scans, triage findings, and remediate vulnerabilitiesTravel to customer sites (up to 30-40%) to deploy and support mission-critical systems, including potential locations in Hawaii and overseasBuild out the deployment engineering team over time as the function scalesDealbreakerLinux system administration (RHEL or equivalent)Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster administrationDocker or container technologies (Docker, Podman)MiscellaneousActive U.
