Position: Lead Developer- AI-Native Product DevelopmentLocation: Hyderabad ( 8 PM to 5 AM IST) Work Type: Full-TimeExperience: 8+ YearsPETADATA is looking for a Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of AI-native, full-stack applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software architecture, AI-assisted development, CRM/data integrations, and modern web technologies, with the ability to drive projects from concept to production. Roles & ResponsibilitiesProduct DevelopmentDesign, develop, and deliver production-ready software products using modern AI-assisted development workflows. Take features from concept and prototype through production and continuous improvement. Use AI development tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering standards. Build effective prompting and agentic workflows to improve development productivity. Architecture & Technical LeadershipOwn high-level system architecture, data models, service boundaries, and technical decisions. Review, test, and improve both developer-written and AI-generated code. Establish coding standards, design patterns, testing practices, and engineering best practices. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and development guardrails. Make technical decisions independently and guide other developers. Mentor developers on software engineering fundamentals and AI-native development workflows. Full-Stack Development & IntegrationsWork across the frontend, backend, APIs, data processing, and integrations. Develop applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and Python. Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs. Develop integrations with CRM and data platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho. Implement APIs, authentication, data mapping, and transformation logic. Collaborate with product, implementation, and customer-facing teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions. Technical Quality & DeliveryEnsure applications are scalable, maintainable, secure, and production-ready. Establish appropriate testing and quality standards to support rapid development. Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging AI development tools and technologies. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver features based on customer and business requirements. Note: Should be able to work independently and work in USA time zonesRequired SkillsStrong experience in full-stack software development and modern application architecture. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and/or Python. Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs. Experience with system design, data modeling, service architecture, and software engineering best practices. Experience developing and maintaining CRM and data platform integrations, particularly Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zoho. Strong knowledge of APIs, authentication, data mapping, and data transformation. Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD, and Docker. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with modern AI-assisted development and agentic coding workflows. Hands-on familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code (CLI), Replit, and GitHub Copilot. Ability to effectively review, validate, and improve AI-generated code. Strong understanding of software testing, code quality, scalability, and production reliability. Excellent problem-solving, communication, ownership, and technical leadership skills. EducationBachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Candidates must attend Phone/video calls and in-person interviews.
