With five global delivery centers and over 2500 employees, we combine the personalized approach of a boutique consultancy with the extensive capabilities of a large IT services firm.Lead DevOps Engineer.Duration: Long Term ContractLocation: Seattle, WA (Onsite)Responsibilities:12+ years’ experience with distributed applications at scale in public cloud (AWS), or equivalent experience.Must have exp in Authoring automated deployments using Terraform.Managing Docker container deployment and orchestration, including AWS EKS.5+ years of experience in public cloud (AWS) in building services using cloud native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, serverless etc.Exposure to Azure cloud.Python/shell/bash experience required.Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including selecting appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, storage, and compute resourcesEnsure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations by implementing security controls, access management, and encryptionTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applicationsCollaborating with application teams to set up CI/CD workflows, create Databricks workflows, manage Databricks clusters, and handle workspace access management.Automated provision/orchestration of AWS resourcesSystem performance monitoring, reporting and optimizationExperience with containers (Docker, EKS) and serverless (Lambda).Experience in implementing various AWS solutions like Data Sync, Batch Job, EMRExperience bootstrapping and automating the build of complete Kubernetes environmentsExperience with automated build in Jenkins or similar CI toolsExperience in managing multiple AWS environments and the AWS ecosystem.Soft Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage conflict effectively.Ability to adapt and be productive in a dynamic environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills supporting multiple stakeholders and business operationsWorking at GSPANNGSPANN is a diverse, prosperous, and rewarding place to work.
