DevSecOps Engineer - Senior Manager

Location: Bristol – three days per week on site, two days from homeSalary: £110,000 - £130,000 plus 8-10% bonusI’m supporting a global IT consultancy who are recruiting a DevSecOps Engineer to work with a UK Defence client.This is a Senior Manager-level technical leadership position to lead a existing team and improve how security is embedded throughout software delivery.

You won’t be coding day to day, but you’ll oversee and review the team’s code and step in technically when required.Your responsibilities will include:Designing and improving DevSecOps practicesDesigning and implementing secure CI/CD pipelinesEstablishing security controls across the development lifecycleLeading and mentoring DevOps and engineering teamsReviewing code, automation and IaCImproving platform reliability, observability and release processesSupporting governance, vulnerability management and complianceI’m interested in speaking with people who have experience across:DevOps, platform engineering or software engineeringAWS or AzureKubernetes and containerised environmentsTerraform and IaCCI/CD and GitOpsSecurity scanning, vulnerability management and secrets managementTechnical leadership and engineering managementSecurity Clearance and Sole UK Nationality is required due to the nature of the work.If you’re interested, please apply or message me directly to arrange a confidential conversation.
