Lead Electrical Engineer

JOB PURPOSE: Provide technical support on electrical testing, inspection and maintenance of high voltage equipment, protective relays and their associated control circuits. Provide technical support in planning and monitoring the execution of electrical maintenance plans. Assist in Investigating electrical equipment failures throughout the plant. Custodian of the Electrical Master Plan and play the role of the technical authority for change approval.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide professional engineering advice and technical expertise for SASREF business units and departments to support project development, engineering studies, SD/TA plans and activities, I&R improvement programs.Assist to develop, monitor implementation and revise plant electrical equipment maintenance strategies to ensure and enhance the integrity and reliability of electrical equipment.Assist in Bad Actors reviews (electrical equipment), analyse the problems/issues and provide recommendations to ensure and enhance asset reliability.Develop and implement integrity audit plans for electrical equipment to ensure integrity of assetsProvide technical authority approval for the design changes.Provide shutdown / turnaround scope of work for electrical support discipline to ensure and enhance availability and integrity of plant and equipment.Plan, prepare and execute assigned SD/TA maintenance tasks (electrical maintenance, inspection, QA/QC of contractor) to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant.Develop, plan, monitor and review T&I plans for electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant.Develop and keep up the custody of the Electrical Master Plan.Lead, motivate, develop and assess the assigned team to achieve business objectives and grow capability.Ensure the business processes and work activities, relevant to position, are executed in compliance with SASREF policy, procedures and best practice to achieve the business objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Experience:Minimum of 12 years’ of relevant experience.Job Nature: Restricted Area with day working schedule.Compensation & Benefits:SASREF values its people as they are its greatest asset.
