Lead Electrical Engineer (PMC)

Job Purpose:To lead and oversee electrical engineering activities for major Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and applicable international codes. The role requires strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities from FEED through detailed engineering, ensuring compliance with project requirements and Client standards.Review, verify, and approve EPC contractor electrical engineering deliverables, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards.Act as the PMC electrical engineering focal point, coordinating with the Client, EPC contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.Monitor EPC contractor performance, engineering progress, deliverable quality, and schedule compliance.Provide technical guidance and resolve electrical engineering issues related to power distribution, electrical equipment, and associated systems.Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and technical bid evaluations, ensuring alignment with Client requirements.Oversee electrical engineering activities during procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum 12 years of overall engineering experience, including at least 8 years in the Oil & Gas industry and 5 years in a relevant electrical engineering role.Strong PMC experience in Oil & Gas projects in a Lead Electrical Engineer position.Proven experience in major EPC/PMC projects covering FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.Saudi Aramco project experience is highly preferred, with good knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and specifications.Middle East project experience is preferred.
