Seeking a Epic Professional Billing Lead Analyst.Candidates residing in the following states will be considered for remote employment:AL, CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, MN, MO, MS, NE, NC, Ok, TX, UT, and VA.Position OverviewProvides leadership and guidance to application analysts by coordinating deliverables, timelines, priorities, and communication with organizational leadership and operational stakeholders. Monitors project progress, identifies and escalates issues, and supports the successful implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of application systems.Partners closely with end users to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues. Supports software implementations and conversions while leveraging knowledge of clinical and business operations to research and recommend effective technology solutions. Ensures assigned applications remain stable, functional, and aligned with organizational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesTakes ownership of assigned work and ensures deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule. Communicates project progress, accomplishments, risks, and issues to the appropriate application or project manager.Produces solutions that align with defined project scope, requirements, organizational standards, and departmental application development and configuration guidelines.Evaluates existing and future-state workflows by conducting stakeholder interviews, collecting information, and reviewing regulatory requirements, operational processes, and departmental policies.Provides leadership and support throughout the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, and ongoing support of clinical and business applications.Performs activities such as application design, workflow analysis and redesign, technical documentation, data gathering, database configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.Actively participates in project and team meetings, collaborating with team members and business stakeholders to accomplish assigned objectives. Works independently when appropriate while effectively following established direction and priorities.Configures, develops, enhances, and maintains complex applications to support organizational and end-user requirements.Creates and maintains process flow documentation and basic project status reports. Researches optimization requests and evaluates potential solutions using available vendor resources and application tools.Develops working knowledge of project management practices, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, dependencies, resource planning, project organization, status reporting, and issue tracking.Develops and applies knowledge of software testing methodologies, including different testing phases and their objectives.Creates, executes, updates, and maintains test scripts based on future-state workflows, system enhancements, and application fixes. Tracks testing progress, documents issues, and assists with troubleshooting and resolution.Supports test planning by identifying required test scenarios, scripts, patient records, stakeholders, and other resources.Collaborates with training staff to review future-state workflows and support the development and validation of training materials and curriculum.May assist as a training proctor and provide application expertise during training sessions.Reviews and helps resolve questions that arise during training and assists with documenting appropriate responses.Supports communication and adoption of application enhancements by creating screenshots, workflow explanations, and documentation describing new functionality or optimized processes.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.EducationBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or five years of relevant experience — RequiredEpic Professional Billing certification — RequiredExperienceMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience — RequiredExperience supporting clinical, ancillary, or business operations — RequiredDemonstrated experience with application system configuration/build — Required
