Lead Frontend Engineer - OsloWe're looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the frontend architecture for a sophisticated engineering platform at a global organisation. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled team and shape the direction of a product that combines advanced analytics, simulation workflows, large-scale datasets and interactive visualisation tools.As a technical leader, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and evolving a modern frontend ecosystem while remaining hands-on with development. You'll work closely with product teams, backend engineers, designers and domain experts to create intuitive user experiences for technical users who depend on the platform every day.What you'll be doingTaking ownership of the frontend architecture and technical direction of a complex React and TypeScript application.Leading the development of scalable, maintainable and high-performance frontend solutions.Establishing engineering best practices, coding standards and architectural principles across the frontend team.Building rich, data-driven user experiences that support analytical, scientific and engineering workflows.Developing interactive visualisations and intuitive interfaces that help users work effectively with complex information.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex business and technical requirements into elegant product solutions.Driving performance improvements, frontend reliability, accessibility and overall user experience.Mentoring engineers, conducting technical reviews and helping shape the future growth of the engineering function.Contributing to key architectural decisions and long-term product strategy.What we're looking forStrong commercial experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript.Experience leading frontend projects or acting as a technical lead within high-performing engineering teams.A strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, performance optimisation and application scalability.Experience developing complex software products involving large datasets, analytics, simulation, scientific or engineering environments.Knowledge of data visualisation techniques and creating highly interactive user interfaces.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product and business teams.A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and raising engineering standards.Apply here,m.graham@tenthrevolution.com+47 902 72 473
