Lead Full Stack Engineer (.Net/React)

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION BASED IN ISLAMABAD. REMOTE WORK IS UNAVAILABLE.Position OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Engineer (.NET + React.js) to design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance full-stack applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise, ownership of complex features, and the ability to contribute to architectural decisions.The ideal candidate should be experienced in AI-Driven software development and capable of using approved AI tools, such as Claude Code and other sanctioned assistants, to accelerate development, testing, debugging, documentation, and code optimization. All AI-assisted work must comply with the organisation's security, data-handling, confidentiality, and intellectual property policies.You will collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build reliable, enterprise-grade solutions. You will uphold engineering standards, conduct code reviews, drive best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of robust .NET Core applications.Good at making architecture-level decisions and translating business requirements into a clear and effective technical architecture.Design and develop secure, scalable .NET Web APIs and backend services.Develop and maintain responsive React.js frontend applications.Implement state management solutions using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or equivalent technologies.Ensure seamless frontend-backend integration and strong API performance.Write clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code following SOLID principles and OOP best practices.Use approved AI development tools to support coding, refactoring, debugging, test generation, documentation, and technical analysis.Review, validate, and securely integrate AI-generated code while maintaining full accountability for its quality, accuracy, security, and performance.Protect confidential information, source code, client data, and intellectual property when using AI-assisted development tools.Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering their professional growth.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and conduct code reviews.Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and engineering best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.Participate in system design, architectural decisions, and performance optimization.Ensure application reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and close collaboration with QA.Support CI/CD pipelines and coordinate with DevOps teams for smooth deployments.Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.5–7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on .NET technologies.Strong expertise in .NET Core, EF, C#, and Web APIs.Solid hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development.Experience with Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar state management solutions.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Server, Azure Services, and Visual Studio.Experience working with MongoDB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL and relational SQL databases.Proven experience in unit testing, integration testing, and solution reliability.Practical experience using approved AI coding assistants, such as Claude Code or equivalent tools, within professional development workflows.
