Employment Type: Full-time, On-siteExperience: Minimum 8 yearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Lead Hardware Engineer to take technical ownership of hardware development from architecture and circuit design through PCB development, prototyping, validation, certification, and production.This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving hardware architecture, schematic and PCB design, design reviews, debugging, technical decision-making, and mentoring of the hardware team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead hardware development from requirements through production.Define hardware architecture, specifications, block diagrams, and key technical design decisions.Act as the technical authority for hardware design decisions and overall design quality.Perform hands-on schematic capture and multilayer PCB design/layout.Review and approve schematics, PCB layouts, component selection, and hardware releases.Lead prototype development, board bring-up, validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis.Ensure designs meet requirements for EMI/EMC, signal and power integrity, grounding, isolation, thermal performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Mentor hardware engineers and establish sound engineering practices and design review processes.Manage component selection, BOM optimisation, alternate parts, and lifecycle risks.Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, QA, manufacturing, suppliers, and EMS/PCB partners.Support DFM/DFT, certification, production readiness, technical estimates, and project risk management.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 8 years of experience in electronic hardware design and product development.Strong experience taking electronic products from concept through prototype and production.Strong hands-on experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, embedded, and power-electronics design.Experience with AC mains-powered products, AC-DC/DC-DC power conversion, switching, and protection circuits.Strong experience in schematic capture and multilayer PCB design.Proficiency in Altium Designer; OrCAD or similar tools is an advantage.Experience with MCU/MPU-based systems and interfaces such as UART, I²C, SPI, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and RS-485.Good understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal design, isolation, creepage/clearance, and PCB manufacturability.Strong board bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting capability.Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analysers, bench power supplies, and related test equipment.Experience with certification and compliance requirements such as CE, FCC, UL, IEC, EMC/EMI, and electrical safety.Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, conducting design reviews, mentoring engineers, and making architecture-level hardware decisions.Strong technical documentation and communication skills.Preferred SkillsRF and wireless technologies such as BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread, or LoRaLow-power and battery-powered electronicsFPGA-based systemsIndustrial and IoT product developmentHardware simulation and thermal analysis toolsQualificationB.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Power Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.Why Join Masrap Technologies?Take technical ownership of products from concept through commercialisation.Lead and mentor a growing hardware engineering team.Work on greenfield products across embedded systems, IoT, healthcare, industrial, and power electronics.Collaborate with multidisciplinary global engineering teams.Remain hands-on with circuit and PCB development while progressing in technical leadership.
