قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجLead Engineer (Instrumentation and Control)We are seeking an experienced Lead Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to lead instrumentation, automation, control system engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning activities across major Oil & Gas EPC projects.YOUR ROLEAs Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards, and drive the successful execution of complex process control and automation systems from design through commissioning.Engineering ManagementLead the design, review, and approval of: Instrument Datasheets, Loop Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Control System Drawings.Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards (ISA, IEC, API).Evaluate and approve instrumentation equipment, control panels, PLC/DCS/SCADA systems, and process control logic.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, supervisors, and technicians.Review and approve engineering modifications and change requests.Installation & Site SupervisionSupervise installation, cabling, integration, and commissioning of: Instruments, Transmitters, Sensors, Control Panels, PLC/DCS/SCADA Systems.Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project standards, and manufacturer recommendations.Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Process teams to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor quality of workmanship and proper handling of sensitive instrumentation equipment.Testing, Calibration & CommissioningLead loop checking, calibration, FAT/SAT activities, and functional testing.Manage pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system issues.Ensure accurate documentation of calibration records, test reports, and commissioning dossiers.Quality Assurance & ControlImplement and maintain QA/QC procedures for all I&C activities.Review and approve ITPs, inspection reports, and vendor documentation.Ensure timely closure of NCRs and punch list items.Maintain complete traceability of instruments and calibration certificates.HSE ComplianceEnsure adherence to HSE requirements, PTW systems, LOTO procedures, and electrical safety standards.Conduct risk assessments for installation, testing, and commissioning activities.Promote a strong safety culture across project teams.Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.Material & Equipment ManagementMonitor availability of instrumentation materials and testing equipment.Ensure proper storage, preservation, and handling of sensitive equipment.Manage calibration compliance of testing instruments.Coordinate with Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.Documentation & ReportingReview and maintain: Instrument Datasheets, Loop Drawings, Calibration Records, Inspection Reports, As-Built Documentation.Prepare progress reports and technical updates for Project and Construction Management.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop I&C engineers, supervisors, and technicians.Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure delivery against project schedules.Conduct technical reviews, toolbox talks, and knowledge-sharing sessions.Collaborate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperience10–15 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering within EPC/EPCM projects.Minimum 3–5 years in a Lead Engineer or Senior I&C Engineer role.Proven experience with: PLC Systems, DCS Platforms, SCADA Systems, Process Control Systems, Instrumentation Design & Commissioning.Strong background in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Industrial Projects.Thorough knowledge of ISA, IEC, API standards, and client specifications.Education and CertificationsBachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field.Master's Degree in Engineering, Automation, or Process Control is preferred.
