Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Design and develop microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.Build and manage event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.Implement automated testing strategies using Cucumber and BDD practices.Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.Identify opportunities to leverage AI/Generative AI capabilities to enhance application functionality and developer productivity.Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive performance optimization, scalability, and application reliability.

Required Skills

12+ years of experience in Java development, including technical leadership.Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.Expertise in Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments.Strong knowledge of Cucumber, BDD, and automated testing frameworks.Familiarity with AI/Generative AI technologies and their integration into enterprise applications.Experience with REST APIs, design patterns, coding standards, and performance optimization.Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud-native application development and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience mentoring technical teams and driving end-to-end delivery.
