In this role, you’ll own one of four key functions—Sense, Comms, Forecast, or Effect—and guide a team of experts to deliver critical components of their technology. You’ll rotate leadership across these functions, requiring both deep technical expertise and adaptability as a generalist. You’ll drive work across reinforcement learning, edge hardware, complex networking, and cloud workflows, collaborating closely with other leads to dynamically allocate resources and advance progress on each iteration. They’re looking for someone who:Proven experience leading teams of technical experts in a chaotic high-paced environment.Deep understanding of reinforcement learning methodologies with hands-on experience deploying and managing RL systems in production environments.Broad knowledge of machine learning inference systems, including applications in vision, voice, and control.Hands-on experience with edge computing hardware and developing cloud-based workflows.Proficiency in understanding and creating UML and sequence diagrams for complex systems.A strong grasp of complex networking principles and radio propagation.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate experts in domains that may be outside your primary area of expertise.Eligibility to obtain and hold a Department of Defense Security Clearance.
