Lead Machine Learning Engineer | AI Lab | Abu DhabiWe’re hiring a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join a high-growth AI Lab in Abu Dhabi, working on the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning solutions at scale.This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced ML Engineer who can take models from research and experimentation through to production, while helping shape engineering standards and mentor other members of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of production-grade machine learning systemsBuild and optimise ML models across a range of AI use casesOwn the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation and model development through to deployment and monitoringDesign scalable ML pipelines and infrastructure for training and inferenceWork closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Software Engineers and Product teamsDrive best practices across MLOps, model performance, testing and production reliabilityProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the teamEvaluate new models, frameworks and technologies and introduce them where appropriateRequirements8+ years of experience across Machine Learning, Software Engineering or related technical rolesStrong hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models into productionAdvanced Python development skillsStrong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning and modern AI architecturesExperience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or similarExperience building scalable ML pipelines and working with large datasetsStrong understanding of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring and CI/CDExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCPStrong software engineering fundamentals and experience designing production-grade systemsPrevious experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineersBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or a related field
